Serger Thread Unraveling Fix

Having issues with Serger thread spools unraveling when storing, sewing, and traveling? Easy fix! I often buy flowers at my local grocery store. The flowers often have a netting on them to protect them. The netting is perfect for slipping over the thread. I grab my spools and slip on and off the sewing machine and storage area without bothering with the thread.
Color in a Can!
I love color. However, it can overtake my imagination. Agonizing over what color/s to use is one thing I am good at. Most of the time I purchase an accessory first then match color around it. Probably sounds very simple- but it really isn’t. This time I purchased a rug from Pier One. And that is where this begins.
I spent almost 3 hours virtually painting my wall/s last night with a tool online that lets you paint your walls and furniture. As I mentioned before, I bought the new rug and now have a new sofa to go with the rug. The color of the sofa is pewter, however it is more like graphite! Much darker than I wanted.
The former sofa was Kiwi a.k.a. Lime Green! OH YES - they were very bright. I realized making a decision to purchase lime green sofas - must of been a slight lapse of color judgement. OR maybe- it was because I had been married to a man for 18 years who insisted dead animal heads hanging in my living room was art. I now believe sending him and the heads out of my life - must of given me the urge to bring bright and cheery color back into my life. I was living in quiet color desperation.
My living room is in color disarray. I have to make a decision on what color palette to go with. The last photo is the online paint tool- the sofa wall is Uncertain Gray and the back wall is Daffodil and the niche I haven’t colored yet. I have not decided what to do with it. The railing and trim is called Pure White. I will post the finished room when I decide what to do with this.
I am always open for suggestions.
This is what the living room first looked like- solid white room with blue furniture and the animals were on these white walls:

Here is the former sofa color and color’s Melon, Pineapple on walls and a small niche is Lime green you can see them in the next photo (Note: The new rug creating change/chaos for me):

Here is the picture that I created online last night that is allowing me to paint my walls all sorts of colors- way cool tool:

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend! You know what I will be doing!
